The Readings by SunChariot Newsletter
July 2014 Edition
Volume 6, Edition 7

Welcome back to the Readings by SunChariot newsletter!

Hope you have been well and happy over there, and soaking up the sun. :-)

July promises to be an interesting month in my life, The theme of this month for me seems to be about newness and change.  Both of which can be beautiful exciting things that have a lot to teach us. And I do love to learn from life.

I do have two very new friends in my life recently, whom I am grateful for. And looking forward to sharing and learning and being their for each other with them.

I also expect a number of changes in my work life this month. Although I don't yet know exactly what will happen, I already have a pretty good idea that things in that area of my life will require change in the month of July.

If you know me, I tend to be more of a procrastinator than I should and I just don't always run off to meet change head-on as quickly as I should. LOL  But I got some help this month with that in this month's Asking about Life section. It actually really did help me get it all and see things in a more productive way. And I hope that it is helpful to you in some way too.

You'll also see a new edition of the "New Toys" section here in this month's newsletter. I add it in periodically when I get something that brings me too much joy to keep to myself and I am dying to share. LOL

This month touches on a company that I  truly admire as well as mentioning and showing you my newest toy. :-)

Today, just before I finished writing this newsletter, I saw someone wearing and interesting T-shirt on the subway. I thought I would share it with you here before I go. Her T-shirt said " Don't look back, you're not going that way."

Really made me stop and think. I found it quite deep. And it sure seems a lot more fun to look forward (to things) than to hold onto the past, when you think of it. Also this month's Friendship Reading also very much mentions this concept.:-)

May this month bring you many changes in your life too. And may they be good and positive changes. Pleasant surprises, and longed for outcomes.

I wish you all that this month, and always,

Warmly,

Babs

Quote of the Month

Mickey Mouse popped out of my mind onto a drawing pad 20 years ago on a train ride from Manhattan to Hollywood at a time when business fortunes of my brother Roy and myself were at lowest ebb and disaster seemed right around the corner.

...just goes to show that we never really know what will happen next (even though we often think we do) And that things can turn around at any point in time,  even when we least expect it. And maybe ever says something about how magical life is. :-)

New Toys

I add this section in periodically when the mood strikes me, when I get something new that brings me so much joy that I feel I need to share it. Something that I just love that makes me feel like a kid with a new toy I can't wait to use and play with. LOL

I've had one of those recently and so here we are again.

All this was the result of two friends, both of whom I am grateful to for the roles they played in this. A big thank you to you both!

The first who made me see and understand that buying something of quality does not actually cost more than buying cheaper versions of it. And taught me to love beautiful purses and that we are after all worth it.  Until recently, I used to buy the least expensive ones I could find. The linings would last a couple of months and in less than a  year the purse was done. That friend taught me that if you pay 5 times as much for something of quality that lasts 10 times longer, you're ahead in the long run and have something better to use and love and enjoy.  Since I got a tax refund just about the time we were discussing it, I went out and took her advice right away. :-)

In the end I bought 2  purses, a beautiful gentle soft leather one that I adore but which may not be as good for winter. And a tougher one to make it through our Canadian weather. This story is about the latter.

I got the second thanks to the advice of a second friend who told me about the company that makes them.

I bought this one:

(front...It does come with an adjustable strap and one handle. It only looks like two as I photographed it in front of a mirror)

(back,  I just LOVE the colour, which they call Paprika)

I have to say that I have been very very favourably impressed here both by the product and by the company itself. It's a company that I truly admire for their philosophy, ethics and what they are doing out in the world. I was very touched by that. And that is another reason I wanted to mention them here.

The company is called Matt & Nat. MATT & NAT stands for MAT(T)ERIAL + NATURE.  It's a very eco-friendly, conscientious company, which impressed me right from the start. They do not use real leather or anything animal based, but still manage to make beautiful and very durable products. Although mine is still brand new, I have spoken to a few friends who have owned a Matt & Nat and everyone seems to be saying they are very well made and very durable. That is in fact one of the company's goals, to create classic, timeless styles, that are durable and long-lasting.  And of course, what lasts a long time is better for the environment. As it doesn't need to be replaced as often.

Another thing I truly do admire is that all the linings in their products are made entirely from recycled plastic bottles. Their site says that approximately 21 recycled bottles go into the lining of one of their purses (depending of course on the size of the purse). That comes out to about 120, 000 recycled bottles a year that go into their products. It does actually feel quite nice and silky to the touch. My lining looks like this:

One more thing I love is the company's motto to: "Live Beautifully". According to their web site: "Living beautifully means appreciating the humanity, creativity and positivity found in all of us." As I am sure you know, that is a very good description of how I want to live my life. And this motto is there on the front of each purse. It makes me smile whenever I see it. Definitely part of the "new toy" appeal. It's a daily reminder or who and what I want to be, as our purses are so often with us. There it is on my purse:

The particular one I got comes from the Vintage collection. It's a bit like distressed leather. (but of course not leather). It even touches me how it says on their site about the Vintage line how "The surface is always a little imperfect, but it’s an acknowledgement of the journey, of learning, and of change."  Again very much values that are important to me.

When I got my purse, the tag on it said "designed with love"... And I just love it back.

So in my view a great purse and a great company. I don't have room to go into all that they do and embody as a socially responsible company, but you can see more about that (and more of their styles) on their web site which is:

Tarot Demystified

The role of the querent in the reading

It may at times seem that the only role the querent (person for whom a Tarot reading is done) is to ask a question and wait for the answer. And the reader does all the rest.

Well, yes and no. Often, in my experience things are not even that simple. I find as readers we often have to help formulate the question as well before we can start. Sometimes the person knows what they need answers but are having trouble putting it into words.   Which is fine, and of course part of our job.  Also as readers, we are the ones who know how are cards work for us, and we can help formulate the question into a form we know will likely give the best answer.  Sometimes formulating the question becomes a joint effort.

And imo, that is really what a good reading is all about. Definitely a joint effort. And one where the querent is definitely the most important person involved in any reading.  Our role as readers is to meet the needs of the querent, which automatically means that their needs are the most important part. We are there to reach out to them, to touch them when we can, to help them see and understand their world and life better. To find solutions, inner peace, hope, optimism, trust together. And whatever else can help them to feel closer to and understand their world better. To me any reading that makes the querent feel worse, frightens them, confuses them, ....failed as a reading.

That doesn't mean that we need to blindly do whatever is asked of us as a reader. Readers have codes of ethics and we need to stick to our moral values and not take on any question that asks us to break with it. We can and should refuse to read on something that does not seem right to us.  I believe we should explain why as well of course. For example, I would never, and was actually asked to once, do a reading asking how to take revenge on someone. I am not going to tell someone how to harm someone else. All readers have had questions asked of them that did not feel right for them to answer. You just get that feeling in your gut and you know it's wrong for you to take that question on.

Unfortunately, there are some people who pretend to be readers who aren't who even use that as a scam...do very inexpensive readings in which they try to scare the querent about the future and then try to sell them some expensive cure-all to heal their future. Even the act of telling the querent they need something else afterwards is unethical. Just not appropriate, so I thought I would add that in quickly as a warning. If you ever run across a reading like that don't pay too much attention to it. That is not really how Tarot works anyway. The future predicted by the cards can usually be changed. And the cards can tell  you how and usually do tell you how to start to fix it. There shouldn't be anything else you have to do or buy.

But yes a good reading is a teamwork. Querent and reader are in it together. working hand in hand towards a common goal.  Empathy and inner caring are parts of being a reader as the answers don't just come from the cards. They also come from within us and our hearts and souls and inner self.

There are various ways a reading can be of help. From sharing and caring, to advice, to healing, to relief, to a greater sense of trust or confidence... But not all readings are just information given that the querent just needs to think about and problem solved.  Some readings take that path, others have more to them.

The querent has the role of deciding which info will most enrich their lives as well. As they are the ones who decide what they want to know. It's an important part of the process. We can make suggestions but in the end the choice is theirs.

The cards can answer anything at all and different questions lead to quite different results. Eg if about to face something new, asking for advice to help things play out in the best way will lead to a very different answer from just asking what that future currently is. And each reading may well lead to a different future as well.

Sometimes the answer comes in the form of advice. That leaves the querent in a more active role. A reading can tell the querent what steps to take to heal a situation. That answer can come in the form of if you do A + B + C then you will arrive at D (the desired outcome). In those kinds of readings  the querent actually has to do the work to get to the desired outcome.  The reading can tell them how to get there but they need to take the steps.  in the same sense as if a doctor tells you to take some form or medication to get healthy once again, these kinds of readings are very much like that. They tell you what to do to make that part of your life "healthy" again and where you want it to be. But you need to follow the advice and do the work to get there.

So the role of the querent can be more active than usually thought in those cases. And of course they can follow the advice given to get to the future they wanted and watch things move more and more in that direction.

Coming next month: Tarot as something that isolates us vs something that connects us.

Asking about Life

I live in a big city and, like most other big cities I would imagine, unfortunately we also have our share of homeless people and people sitting on the sidewalks in certain areas hoping for money. Years ago, I came across one with a witty sign that still makes me smile.

He had written on his sign: If you are afraid of change, leave yours here."

I was thinking of that lately and why some of us ARE so afraid of change. I certainly am myself more than I would like to be. I will admit right here to being a procrastinator more times than I should. So I thought I would ask this month more about that. About why people fear change and what the consequences of fearing and avoiding it might be.

I used an Oracle deck to ask. I used the Tao Oracle by Ma Deva Padma (who yes, is the artist of the Osho Zen Tarot as well). It's a very very interesting deck to me. It's based on the I-Ching. It's like half I-Ching and half cards.  And the deck is even used with 3 coins (which do not come with it).

I chose it for this reading as it is very much a deck about changes. And that was the topic of this reading. It is a deck that not only tells you the situation you are facing or the answer you asked for. It also tells you if the situation is in flux and changing and if so how to help it change in the best ways.

So here is what I asked for us this month, and what came up:

Question 1: What do you want to tell us about resisting change in general?

Card 1a: Obstacles

This first card says that the first step when it comes to change, is that we notice some kind of obstacles in our lives. Whether it external or internal, the first thing we notice is that something is unexpectedly getting in the way. That's where it all starts. We notice a difficulty, something blocking us in some way. As the image shows, we can feel all at sea, tossed around a bit by forces we don't feel fully in control of (yet).  Like we are suddenly sailing off  in the wrong direction. And maybe we feel all alone.

This can indicate life situations that require you to suddenly veer off your intended course, or inner attitudes that you suddenly notice are holding you back or taking you away from where you really want to go. It can feel frustrating and hard to deal with at first. That can make us what to avoid those feelings or resist them.

But the gist of this card is that those feelings are meant to be temporary. They will pass if  you ride them out and accept them for what they are. The storm and it's confusion will always pass. All storms do.

This card is shown in transition here. This says again that that initial realization that change is needed, is just a moment in time. It , and the feelings it can bring are meant to be temporary things.  What it is meant to change into is:

Card 1b) Gathering Together

After we first realize something requires change,(the realization being only a momentary thing) that energy is meant to change into a gathering together of the forces we feel are needed to fix what needs fixing. This can take a number of forms. It can be a little resting period to gather your strength, a planning period to think out how to best get to where we want to be, combining forces with others (getting their advice or working together), a stepping back and trying to look at the big picture. It's a tricking down of the wisdom needed to move in the right direction. These kinds of activities help us be in a stronger position to create that change in the best ways.

The cards are telling you here, that the best way to move from A to B, to move from the initial realization the change is needed to effectively gathering up what is needed to create that change is to take the necessary time to think things out first. The cards are advising you that if you just change abruptly and suddenly, those around you may feel confused and react a bit defensively to something so unexpected. Change from a centered way is best as is keeping the middle ground.

Also the cards are saying to not be afraid to show others if you feel vulnerable. Change can make us feel that way and it is definitely OK to show that. We have all been there. Others will understand. And to not be afraid to ask for advice. What you learn in the process can be very strengthening and enlightening.

Card 2a: Flipped Work on What Has Been Spoiled

This second card in answer to this question was a flipped card (a card that flipped out of the deck during shuffling). That says that it has a deeper meaning embedded in it that might become visible if you really stop to think about it.

This is a second case scenario. Something that has been damaged also requires change to repair and heal it.  If something hurtful was done or said, it can take a concerted effort to change things back to what they were before, to regain trust, and to correct mistakes that have been made.

It says that these kinds of things especially need to be addressed as soon as possible. That if we cause someone pain, the longer we wait to address it the more resentment and negative feelings may grow.  These can spoil a relationship just as food left unattended to long in the refrigerator can spoil.

This card says that is something negative is happening within a relationship, of course that requires change. It also suggests the first step is to look within and see how your words and actions played out. And to try to see why they had the effect they did.

This card is also shown in transition. This says that working on what has been spoiled is meant to lead back to:

Card 2b: The Gentle

...to lead back to once more to mutual faith and trust in each other, to a new and deeper understanding, to a softer more sensitive approach to others in our life. That gentle understanding is what will most easily penetrate to the real truth of any situation or relationship.

The cards say that in order to effectively work on what has been spoiled so that you can get back to that place of pure gentle connection and oneness, the first and most important step is to acknowledge fully within yourself that healing is required.

The next step is to fully commit to healing what needs it as well and as quickly as you can. That maybe be about correcting misunderstandings, but it can and often does include changing something inside yourself or your reactions to things.  Once you have made that commitment, things will start to change almost immediately. You may not see the effects immediately, but the shift will have started.

Question 2: What happens when we do avoid change?

Card 1: Inner Truth

When we do choose to avoid change, we also avoid facing situations that will teach us more and deeper inner wisdom and let us know who we are on a much deeper level. We are avoiding the very life lessons what could teach us so much about who we are inside and help us develop that and our inner strength more and more.

This card is saying that to turn our back on, and ignore, what needs change is to turn our back on the wisdom we can learn from our heart and inner selves. If we never ask our inner selves how to best create that change we never hear that wisdom. If we never follow our intuitive knowing on how to best proceed, it doesn't talk to us as often and we don't  hear it as clearly.

In short, when we try to avoid change consistently, in so doing we become more disconnected from our inner truth. As we neglect it and try not to face it, we come to not know it as well.

There is no change shown in this card. It just is what it is. If we avoid change, we are avoiding our inner truth and inner self, period.

Card 2: Peace (11)

This second card here says that when we try to avoid facing change, we are "avoiding" peace, harmony, balance and our sense of well-being. When we sense something needs change, it is there and it is real. It needs change. And we know it, we can feel it.

Something is out of balance, out of whack, wrong, and stuck where we don't want it to be. If we avoid it it continues to stay out of balance and things continue to feel wrong and stressful.  That stress is a result of our knowing things our wrong. It is what is meant to push us to change. But if we ignore that, well things are not going to feel peaceful or balanced and feel as they should. Because things are not peaceful and balanced and as they should be. And inside us we know it. And things feelings are what is there to remind us that change is needed to get things back to their normal place, where they FEEL right again.

That is their purpose, they are meant to remind us. So avoiding change is not the most peaceful or easy path in the long run, even though it may seem to be.

This card also is not shown in change.  It simply says that as long as we choose to try to avoid change, we are not going to feel at inner peace. Things are not going to feel harmonious and balanced. And we won't feel a sense of well being in life that life is running just as it should...because it won't be as long as we choose to avoid what needs change.

Question 3: What happens when we don't avoid change?

Card 1a: Difficulty in the Beginning

Yes this card is an acknowledgement that change is not always easy. But the card IS called Difficulty in the Beginning.  It does not say things will stay difficult.

As you can see, this card says that when we first try to create change, there might be some doubts and fears. A new situation means by its very nature that there are some unknowns there, we can't always predict how people will react of the outcome of our efforts. We may feel awkward and unsure of ourselves, perfectly normal and understandable in situations where we don't know how people may react and cannot be sure of the outcome of our actions.

We may feel vulnerable if we are in a situation unlike anything we have faced before. Maybe afraid to come out of our shell and show and be our real selves. Naked and unprotected, as shown in the card image. These are the initial feelings that could make us want to avoid that change.

BUT, this card is shown in flux. It says that if we accept those initial feelings as normal and face them, then we can reach:

Card 1b: The Turning Point

The point where things start to turn around. Where we know inside us that the timing is right and that now is the best time to deal with that needs that change. Where we know we are ready inside to start that new cycle of change and to put what you need in to create a steady improvement in the situation.

This card says that there is a natural timing to all things. And that when we are ready to start creating that needed change, there will be a pause. A moment in time where we stop, take a deep breath and tell ourselves we are ready to start. Now. Now is the time and we know it. It's that moment of knowing that all is right, and you are ready inside.

The cards says that to the best way to get from that point of feeling a bit vulnerable and insecure and frightened to the point where you know inside now is the right time and you are really ready to create that change is to engage your sense of patience.

To know things will take some time and to be prepared not to expect overnight results. And that  If we expect to see immediate results or proof of change,  for things to change more quickly than they can, we may get disappointed and think our efforts are not succeeding , when in reality we may be doing very well.

Also, to  remember that when things are allowed to happen gradually, there will be lots of time and opportunity to correct and adjust as we go. That means that mistakes along the way can be corrected. So maybe it is not so important after all to know in advance the outcome of our choices, if we can change paths along the way.

In the end, if we do our best it will be plenty good enough. No one can ask more than that of us, even ourselves. And if you try to work towards what we want in authentic ways that are true to who we are and aligned with our own personal type of inner beauty, then we always win

Card 2a: The Taming Power of the Great

This card says that if we don't  avoid change in our lives, we will develop greater self-discipline from facing what was not easy for us. It will strengthen our inner focus, strengthen our characters, help us know our true inner selves on a deeper level. And naturally to realize our potential more profoundly.

Not a bad answer right there! It says that by facing what needs change in our lives head on we learn more and more to be aware of our real selves more and more fully even in harder times that require change from us.  We learn to stick to our principles and our true inner selves when faced with opposition. To stick to our inner truth and who you are inside no matter what.  Those are some valuable lessons right there.

And this in the end, leads to:

Card 2b: Decrease

Which seems like a strange place to go from the last card LOL, but it does make sense. What the two cards are saying here is that if we work to change what needs it in our lives instead of avoiding it we get a deeper and deeper knowledge and understanding of who we really are inside.  And that once we do, there is a decrease (a dropping away) of what we learnt along the way that is not really part of the true inner person we are inside.

Any baggage drops away more and more. Any beliefs that we were taught growing up that do not accurately reflect truth or how we are inside decrease....And we are left with a purer version of who we are meant to be. A lightened version of us once what has been holding us back and weighing us down. It's a positive decrease, a decrease in negative things we have been holding onto unnecessarily.

The cards here say that it is a natural process that as we grow in self-awareness, what we are holding onto that is not authentically us drops away. So any heightening of self-awareness leads to this transition. The more clearly  we know who we are, the more we realize who we are not.

They also say that to heighten this process and help it along, it would be helpful to feel an awe and humbleness for the process. When facing experiences with the capacity to help us see deep inside, this trip can lead you to look and accept at any vulnerabilities or limitations. After all no human being can ever be perfect, so we all  have them and it is part of what it means to be human.  Ask for guidance in you need it. And if you can accept what is and learn and grow from it, the rest will melt away and you will be left with a purer version of you that will let your true inner self shine more brightly out into the world.

July 2014 Friendship Reading

I used another Oracle deck for you here. The Color Wisdom Cards, by Tori Hartman. It's another deck that I love. I find it deep and it has beautiful stories that go with each card. Colour certainly does speak to us in life too.

This month I asked what you most need to see and learn this month. I believe that the answer will lead you to learn something that it will truly benefit you to know, if you look for that lesson this month.

(In this reading I used upright cards to represent you yourself  and what is going on inside you. And reversed cards to represent what is coming from others, from the world around you, from outside of yourself.)

Here is what came up:

Card 1: A Woman named Aubergine (reversed)

This is a reversed card, so it's only indirectly about you. It's about something that is affecting your life, but not something coming from you.

This card is telling you to listen to and respect your intuition this month and to trust it. It will have something valuable to teach you. And reveal something that you could not find out in any other way. If you ignore it or push it away, you may never find out.

This card is telling you that this month you'll come across something or someone who is not who or what they seem to be. You can figure it out if you pay attention. This is where your intuition can be a help. And seeing it more clearly will be helpful to you. It might be a situation that you think is one thing, but if truth is something else altogether. It might be a door you hoped to go through that seems closed to you now. But IS it really? Is there another key to that door to open it? Another way you haven't yet thought of?

Or something like  someone in your life acting cold or aloof and unfeeling, when in fact they truly do care but are reacting out of fear of being hurt as they have been at some point(s) in the past. This card is saying that this month something of someone is not exactly what they seem. The true face of the situation may not immediately be evident. So don't just take everything at face value.  Use your inner heart and love-based feelings and dig gently a little underneath the surface. You might be surprised what you find out.  This card says you will be facing something that is an unknown to you. Something that is not what it seems.

Card 2: Topaz (reversed)

This is also a reversed card, so it is also about things in your life that you yourself are not directly creating. I've always loved this card in this deck too. This card is about enlightenment, also one of my favourite topics.:-)

This card is telling you that this month is a great time for you to focus on what brings you inner peace, to meditate, try to stay in that present moment as much as you can, really listen for and to your inner voice, and to do whatever makes you feel good and like your best version of you. It's a time to tune out the outside world a bit and listen more within. The answers to anything that you really need to know will be there inside you if you slow down and listen and trust.

Now (the month of July) is not the time to avoid or procrastinate endlessly about anything bothering you. It's a time  to embrace change as a part of what life actually is. To embrace life and all that it is, to trust that there is a beauty and order to life. It's about knowing that life will always have ups and downs, but inner peace is something apart from that. Life situations seem to come at us from the outside, but peace is something that comes from the inside out.

This card says that acceptance of and trust in what comes are good places to start. Naturally avoiding and procrastinating are not accepting what is or trusting what will come. They are not paths to inner peace.

Card 3: Righteous Raspberry (reversed)

This is one more reversed card, again about something that you are not directly creating and that seem to be coming to you from outside yourself.

The theme of this card is about perfection. It is not directly about you striving for perfection, as the cards was reversed here. It's more about what others taught you about it during your lifetime. The lessons about it that came to you from outside yourself that you learnt and assimilated into yourself over time.

It looks like this month is a good time to stop and think about all that. What were you told, how much validity does it seem to hold to you? How is it helping you , or holding you back in your life? How might things change if you embraced different attitudes on about perfection? IS what you believe logically about perfection in sync with the way you act when the topic comes to mind...?

This card here this month is about coming to see the truth on this topic. Weighing what you have been told on what actually makes you feel happy and at peace inside. Hint: if they are not the same, what makes you feel happy and at peace inside is going to be much closer to the truth of the matter. :-)

This card is how you were taught to others vs how you were learnt to treat yourself. These are all things that we learn from the world around us. IS there a difference between how you treat others and how you treat yourself? If so where do you think that came from? Was it a  message of truth or was it flawed of distorted in some way? Is there something you would like to see change?

The message of this card is to try to lighten up on yourself if you are being to hard on yourself. There is no real reason to and being kind is just more effective.

This card is the only one of the reading that is not a reversed card. It IS directly about what is going on inside you. And naturally there is nothing negative about that card, whatever is on the image. :-)

It's really a card about taking a look at what baggage you might be carrying around with you from situations that have ended long ago. Maybe we all have some situations in the past that were painful and even a couple that almost brought us to our knees. The memories of them can sometimes still follow around behind us and affect some of our reactions and feelings. And that hold us back.

This card is about trying to find some kind of closure if necessary, to realize that what is done is done and is in the past and can't hurt us anymore. And in letting the sun finally set on those things in our life and to put them behind us in a real way. When we let go, it leaves us more room to gather more of life's beauty towards us. It opens more doors, it frees us, it brings more meaningful situations towards us.

It's about trying to let go of whatever makes us feel committed to hold onto that and letting the sun set on any such things from our past once and for all. The card is called Final Sunset. Letting the sun set on what causes us pain or reminds us of it, so that we can leave the past in the past so that a new day may dawn that brings with it renewal and the light.

Card 5: Flipped Bronze God (reversed)

This last card of the reading is a flipped card, the only one in this reading. A flipped card (card that flipped out of the deck during shuffling) tends to have a deep message to it, that can be seen more easily and clearly if we stop and think it over.

This card is once more a reversed card, so it is really talking to something/an energy that is coming towards you but did not start from you.

This card is about facades, and the "face" that you put in the situations of your life. It's asking you to think about if you consistently (almost rigidly) tend to see situations in similar ways. Do you enter most new situations full of hope, or wary of what may come.  Or do each seem unique and new to you and you go in with no expectations. This card is about thinking about that, if you have a set way to think and react about new things, and where it came from. And how it affects what comes.

This card is a lot about our expectations, and where (or whom) they came from. And seeing if they really are taking us where we most want to go. Thinking about if another way would benefit us more and make life easier, or if we really are on the right track in this area of our lives.

In the end this card is really about being true to yourself, and following your true inner wisdom. It advocates love and trust in life and in all that you can be and become. It about taking life by the hand and trusting in it. Leaving the past in the past and holding onto the concept or something greater and wiser as you move forward.  And in fact following whatever path helps you to grow greater and wiser with each passing day.
